120 gather at requisition meeting

Residents in Ramsey are heavily criticising the Health and Social Care's explanation for changes to Ramsey Cottage Hospital services.

DHSC Minister Kate Beecroft and two of her senior officials attended a requisition meeting requested by members of the public last night in the town.

They were berated for moving endoscopy procedures from the north of the Island to a new purpose built facility at Noble's Hospital this week.

120 people attended the gathering - they were unconvinced by the DHSC's reasoning; cutting waiting lists.
