The Chief minister says he's disappointed at the resignation of Dudley Butt MLC from the Department of Education and Children.
Mr Butt says he had to step down after losing the argument with minister Peter Karran over plans to close the Island's state-funded pre schools.
Allan Bell has promised discussions on alternative nursery places for children who lose out, but says news of Mr Butt's departure has come as a shock:
