More community pride and respect is needed in the Island's fight again drug and alcohol misuse, according to a North Douglas MHK.
Bill Henderson was speaking after Tynwald members spent five hours debating the next Strategic Plan before backing its contents.
This included a section promising to support the existing drug and alcohol policy, along with aiming to create a new detox unit and a drug enforcement agency.
Mr Henderson (pictured) says we are all responsible for bucking the trend; starting at home:
MiCard alternatives 'must be better than what we already have'
Minimum wage increase 'dreadful' for business owners
Last chance for central residents to respond to 20mph consultation
Road to close for 'very large' elm tree to be felled
