Response to Southern Show traffic complaints

Police and volunteers praised for efforts

The Southern Agricultural Show's secretary has responded to criticism from some people it had taken too long to get into and, particularly, out of the car park.

On Saturday evening, Manx Radio received a number of texts and emails - there were also comments on social media - complaining about the situation, with some saying they had to wait more than an hour

On both days, police warned people to be prepared for heavy traffic in the area of Great Meadow, on the outskirts of Castletown.
