Restoration of some Manx bus services

Special summer timetable to start next week

A number of bus services are to be restored across the Island, from Monday.

It's after social distancing is to be scrapped from the start of next week, along with the easing of other Covid-19 restrictions.

Bus Vannin has announced its special summer timetable, which will operate until 7 September.

Some of the key changes are: Service 1 - serving Onchan, Douglas and the south will be restored to its every 15 minutes frequency.

A new service 30 has been introduced to coincide with the new one-way system on Douglas promenade - providing a link between the main points on the prom every 15 minutes.

There are a number of other changes, including the resumption of some school buses on 22 June.
