Results day changed by technology, says school head

Some students already received results

Technology has significantly altered GCSE results day.

That's the belief of the headteacher of Ballakermeen High School, Adrienne Burnett, as hundreds of students receive their grades today.

However, some of them already have their results, with Cambridge International exams having been released earlier this month.

Many pupils do a mix of traditional GCSEs and the newer IGCSE qualification.
