Bobby Moore's courage recognised
A retired fireman's been honoured after he saved the life of an elderly man who had slipped into Douglas harbour in August last year.
Bobby Moore just happened to be passing by North Quay as members of the public noticed a man in his mid-60s had fallen in trying to board a yacht.
Mr Moore, who has more than 25 years of experience in the Fire and Rescue Service, went in himself to help before emergency services arrived.
He's now received an award from the Royal Humane Society for his act of bravery.
