Height of premises would be lowered under changes
Amended plans for the re-development of the Lord Street bus station site have been submitted.
The key change to the original proposal submitted in May is a reduction in the height of the proposed 14 storey apartment block to 12 storeys.
Had the original plan been approved the building would have become the tallest in Douglas.
The revised drawings include provision for 85 residential apartments with parking, a travel information centre, several bus stands facing onto Lord Street, a cinema, public toilets and bus driver welfare facilities.
The project is being progressed by local company Lord Street Development SPV Limited.
