Director of ports talking to airlines
The Isle of Man has instantly lost five air routes, following the news Citywing has gone into liquidation, but there could be some positive news on the horizon.
Airlines are being spoken to about coming in to replace the ticket seller.
Passengers can no longer fly to and from Belfast, Blackpool, Glasgow, Gloucester and Newcastle.
Citywing's directors made the announcement about the liquidation late last night, saying that operations would cease with immediate effect
Director of Ports Ann Reynolds is optimistic something can be sorted out for at least some of those routes relatively soon:
RPU will be 'out in force' to stop drink and drug drivers
Ramsey Commissioners to spend more than £8k on deckchairs and storage unit
How to spot the signs of domestic and elder abuse this Christmas
Police appeal to parents after party of up to 50 young people 'becomes an issue'
