Ashford says taking latest inflation rate apart is revealing
Rising energy prices are playing a role in boosting inflation rates on the Isle of Man.
This is something that's been emphasised by Treasury Minister, David Ashford.
The figure was 6.4% for January 2022, up from 6% the previous month.
Petrol and oil went up 23% whilst gas saw a 19.1% hike over 12 months.
Speaking on Manx Radio's Agenda programme, Mr Ashford says taking that figure apart is revealing:
Senior doctors and consultants call for intervention amid 'critical shortfall in bed capacity' at Noble's Hospital
Rolling delays see Manxman sailings cancelled
Assisted dying bill receiving 'due attention it deserves' in UK
