Annual commemoration at St George's Church
The annual service to commemorate the founder of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, Sir William Hillary, is taking place this afternoon (Sun 13).
The service is at St George's Church in Douglas, starting at 3pm.
It's to be conducted by the Archdeacon of Man, the Venerable Andrew Brown.
It will also be attended by the Deputy Governor, His Honour the First Deemster Andrew Corlett - who'll lay a wreath on the tomb of Sur William and Lady Hillary.
