There has been more traffic congestion on roads in and out of Douglas this eveing.
Today's delayed TT Supersport 2 race had a knock on effect on the rest of the schedule.
For the second day running there is an evening race, with the second sidecar getting underway on time a few minutes ago (6.15pm).
That will be followed by practice for Friday's senior race.
There were points at the usual places for one hour until 6pm, but roads around the course aren't due to open to traffic until 8.30pm at the earliest.
Director of highways Bruce Hannay says the disruption can't be avoided:
Red flag stops Senior TT race
TT campers in 'high spirits' despite rain affecting race week
Further delay to TT schedule due to 'non-racing operational matter'
Crash which closed the Mountain Road ahead of racing 'not too serious'
