All the Isle of Man's roads will be in a stable state of repair by the end of the month.
Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says an extreme winter caused significant problems, and more than 5,000 potholes and defects have been repaired over the past few months.
He says his department has received about 500 reports of road damage a month since last November and the workforce has pulled out all the stops:
