Concern reform agenda not included in budget
East Douglas MHK Chris Robertshaw has slammed the lack of moves within the budget to improve government efficiency.
However, he praised Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan for trying to ease the pressure on household incomes with a series of announcements such as a record increase in personal allowances.
But he says the lack of government reform smacked of protecting its own structure with a forecast rather than a plan:
