One of the leading supporters of the redevelopment of the Bowl says an improved stadium could provide an ideal location for rock and pop concerts.
Douglas Council leader David Christian was one of the guests on Manx Radio's Sunday Opinion, following the news a working group is being set up to consider spending up to £3.2 million pounds on turning the facility into a showpiece venue for the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games:
