Romania remembered at Tin Baths

Castletown celebrated its links with Romania at the weekend as the town gathered for the annual Tin Bath Races.

A delegation from Romania arrived in the south of the Island to cement links after a number of Manx charities had visited the country.

A fire-fighter from Romania entered into the spirit of the day by climbing into a bath and taking part in the racing.

At a reception later in the day, Rosa Drown of Romanaid said there were a surprising number of links between the nation and Castletown.
