Icy conditions are expected to worsen overnight
Ronaldsway Met Office has escalated a warning for ice and wintry showers to code 'amber'.
Forecasters say temperatures are likely to fall sub-zero from 9pm this evening across the whole Island.
The warning remains in place until 3pm tomorrow (17 January).
It suggests there's a risk of severe weather impacting travel.
Numerous roads around the Island were closed earlier following deteriorating road conditions.
