It had shut for several hours earlier due to ice and sleet
The runway at Ronaldsway Airport has reopened having shut for several hours earlier this morning (2 January).
Flights are now beginning to resume operations but airport officials are warning there may still be some disruption during the day.
Passengers are being advised to check directly with their airline for the latest flight information.
Just before 7.30am today, Isle of Man Airport announced the runway had been shut due to 'heavy ice and sleet'.
Since then, teams at the site have been working to de-ice the surface with the airport adding that roads around the airport were also icy and that passengers should allow extra time for travelling to and from the area.
