A section of the Poortown Road in Peel is closing today (Wednesday) for up to three weeks, as Manx Gas lays a new gas pipeline.
It will be shut from Ballalough Farm to Ballaquane Road.
Manx Gas says the aim is to connect the new high pressure natural gas supply point to the existing gas infrastructure in the town.
Access to Ballalough Farm is being maintained throughout the closure.
