
Port Erin Commissioners say they’re disappointed over the impending closure of a popular golf club in the south of the Island.
Last Thursday, Rowany Golf Club’s committee announced the club would cease trading and wind up its business operations.
In a statement, the commissioners say they’ll continue to talk to the club and its members and the board is committed to having a golf course in Port Erin.
They add they may now start looking for expressions of interest in running the facility.
