Summers Shows will not go ahead due to pandemic
It's just been announced, this year's Royal Manx Agricultural Show has been cancelled.
The Royal Manx Agricultural Society and the Southern District Agricultural Society have announced that both Agricultural Shows planned for the Summer will no longer go ahead.
In a statement released this morning, the societies say they have discussed various alternatives but, for many reasons, none of these options are viable.
The decision has been made with the health and safety of members, visitors, and volunteers in mind, with both societies deeming it the 'responsible' thing to do during the coronavirus pandemic.
You can find more information on the respective Show's social media sites.
