
Forces' veterans are being invited to meet serving Royal Marines when they visit the Island for Armed Forces Day later this month.
A group of six Marines from 45 Commando will join local servicemen and women at the commemoration in Douglas on Sunday 29 June.
The Marines serve alongside Lance Corporal Martin Peters from Douglas, who's organising the Manx trip for the third year running.
He's also planning a get-together for the Marines and local veterans at the Douglas Royal British Legion hall on the Friday evening (27 June).
Lance Corporal Peters says his fellow Marines are keen to use the occasion to swap stories and help boost the Manx Legion's funds:
