All age groups guilty of speeding
Police have made a number of arrests for driving at speed in Laxey - saying the level of lawlessness on the roads there is surprising.
The Roads Policing Unit stopped people of all ages in the village yesterday (Weds).
Some were handed a £120 fine with added points on their licence, others were deferred for a Juvenile Traffic Scheme.
Drivers were also referred directly to the courts.
