Vicky East says it's due to her ongoing health issues
A candidate who'd been hoping to represent Rushen in the House of Keys has decided they are no longer able to stand in September's General Election.
Vicky East is the owner of Torden Stores in Port St Mary.
Speaking to Manx Radio, she says her Multiple Sclerosis and ongoing issues with her health have led to her decision.
The other candidates standing in the constituency are Michael Crowe, Michelle Haywood, Mark Kemp, Laurence Vaughan-Williams and Simon Williams.
