Rushen MHKs seek leisure boost

Rushen residents are being urged to get behind their constituency politicians and back the bid for a new leisure facility in the area.

Juan Watterson MHK, with the support of his fellow Rushen members Quintin Gill and Phil Gawne, put in an expression of interest for one of the 'low cost activity halls' the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure is looking to build.

They now want as many groups, clubs and organisations as possible to come forward, whether as users, managers or supporters, to try and ensure the hall is built there.

Mr Watterson says it's something which is very much needed:

To back the bid call Juan Watterson on 651517 during office hours or email him, juan.watterson@gov.im
