Patients report difficulties when booking to see a GP
The two MHKs for Rushen say they will be meeting with Southern Group Practice to discuss ongoing concerns about booking and availability over the coming weeks.
As reported by Manx Radio this week, residents in the south have reported experiencing difficulties when booking GP appointments.
MHKs Juan Watterson and Dr Michelle Haywood say they're due to meet with the practice manager.
In response to patient concerns, Manx Care says it continues to work with GPs to monitor access and patient experience, but says demand for appointments can vary between practices and over time.
It adds that practices use different systems to balance routine and urgent care.
Anyone with concerns is told to contact the Manx Care Advice and Liaison Service (MCALS) so issues can be formally logged and reviewed.
