Safe landing after emergency turnout

A light aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at Ronaldsway Airport.

Carrying four people, the pilot and three passengers, the twin-engine plane developed an intermittent fault on the port engine as it was flying from Liverpool to Belfast City.

There was a full emergency turn-out, including police and fire service personnel, but the aircraft landed safely.

The incident happened yesterday afternoon.
