It's November 5, and police in the Isle of Man are warning misusing fireworks could see those responsible facing prosecution.
Special patrols will take place tonight aimed at deterring irresponsible and potentially dangerous behaviour.
This year the Office of Fair Trading has been working with the Police and the Fire and Rescue Service to ensure fireworks are sold legally and stored correctly.
Acting Sergeant Rosie Hawes, from the East Neighbourhood Policing Team, will be one of the officers on patrol (audio file attached):
