Businesses can continue to get £310 per week per employee
Travel and tourism businesses will continue getting financial help from government until there’s unrestricted travel between the Island and the UK.
Treasury has announced the extension to the salary support scheme until level one of the border framework is reached.
It applies to all of those in the sector, as well as laundrettes, for whom 50 per cent of their business is generated through the hotel and tourist trade.
For qualifying businesses the initiative will provide £310 for a full-time employee per week.
All applicants also need to show a fall in revenue of at least 25 per cent due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Anyone with questions about the Salary Support Scheme is urged to call 648 125.
