Temporary home from a week on Monday
The Salvation Army is moving to a temporary home.
After 85 years based in Lord Street in Douglas, it’s to relocate to alternative premises a week on Monday (November 13).
It’s hoped the former Fairfield School building on Tynwald Street will host its weekly activities and services from November the 19th while a replacement Citadel is constructed on the site of the current one.
The relocation date for the Salvation Army Ark community nursery has yet to be confirmed.
