Chance to find out more about charity's work
A local charity is seeking people to lend an ear to those in need.
Samaritans Isle of Man is holding two open sessions today, giving potential volunteers a chance to find out more about the charity's work.
A session took place in Peel this lunchtime and there's another at Victoria Place in Douglas from 6pm to 8pm.
Deputy director for recruitment, Lesley Moughtin, explained what might drive someone to get in touch with the Samaritans:
