Chairman says contract will end due to cost
The Chairman of the Isle of Man Post Office says operating a Santander banking service was costing the organisation money.
Julie Edge was asked to make a statement on the decision to end the contract with Santander at this week's sitting of the House of Keys.
Onchan MHK Rob Callister raised concerns about the impact on businesses that use the service, and was unhappy with the responses given by the Chairman.
However, Ms Edge insists continuing the arrangement in its current form doesn't make financial sense:
