Sarah's Law campaigners contact election candidates

Campaigners callingĀ for new laws which would give parents access to information about local sex offenders say they hope it will be an issue in the run-up to the general election later this month.

The group, which is pushing for the introduction of Sarah's Law in the Isle of Man, say they have been in touch with all 64 candidates to ask whether they support the idea.

Organiser Suzette Marshall says the 3,000 people who have signed up to an online group represent a huge amount of votes.

She wants voters to ask would-be MHKs about their stance on the issue (listen to audio file below):

Polling day is Thursday, September 29.
