
Parents of children at four island schools have this week been updated on how the schools are doing.
Ramsey Grammar and primaries Ballasalla, Laxey and Michael have been carrying out their School Self Review and Evaluation.
Geoff Moorcroft is co-ordinating adviser for primary education.
He says it's important to have people from both inside and outside the schools contributing to the assessments:
