Scran launch first album

Culture Vannin excited over 'Nane'

Described by Culture Vannin as "perhaps the Isle of Man's most exciting and promising group of young traditional musicians", Scran have announced the launch date for their new album.

'Nane', which means 'one' in Manx Gaelic, is the name of the local band's debut album.

And it's set to be launched at the Mitre Hotel in Ramsey on Tuesday (27 Nov), from 7pm.

Among the teenage bandmembers is BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Musician of the Year 2018, Mera Royle, on harp.
