
America’s Department of Defense may be known for its secrecy – but it’s now sharing its satellite data with a non-profit body based in Douglas.
The Space Data Association is based in Athol Street and collects information about orbits and positions to help members keep their spacecraft away from collisions.
NASA is already a member – but the Association says it’s scored a real coup in signing up the DoD.
