Charity looking for new cadets and adult volunteers
It's rewarding to see young people who are a bit nervous and lacking confidence leave as people to be proud of.
That's from the Sea Cadets Isle of Man, which offers activities like sailing, climbing and camping to children aged 10 to 18.
It aims to teach teamwork, respect, discipline and self-confidence, and is currently looking for new cadets and adults to help run the activities.
Executive Officer Emma Shimmin says it makes her proud to see youngsters blossom:
You can find out how to sign up and volunteer at sea-cadets.org/isleofman
