Handful of casualties reported on Port Erin Beach
A number of dead seal pups have been reported around the Island, having washed ashore following Storm Amy.
The Manx Wildlife Trust says grey seal pups are not the best swimmers and often, after storms, there are casualties.
Around four of them could be seen on Port Erin beach following the weekend's rough weather conditions.
It's typical at this time of year when the pups are being born, and also into the winter as they are learning to fend for themselves.
Anyone who spots a seal pup on the shore - dead or alive - is urged to report it to Manx Wildlife Trust or the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.
