Suzie the short-haired chihuahua went missing over the weekend
A search is underway to find a short-haired chihuahua who went missing from the Greeba area over the weekend.
Five-year-old Suzie's 'heartbroken' owners had only arrived on the Island on Saturday (19 July).
She ran off with another dog, called Archie, in the Cronk-Dhoo area - towards the old pet cemetery - at around about midnight (into Sunday 20 July).
Archie came back 10 minutes later; but Susie remains missing.
She's described as 'very loved and likely scared and disoriented'.
Suzie is small, wearing a pink collar, and has a very nervous temperament.
It's believed she may be hiding, frightened, or trying to avoid people.
Residents in the area are asked to 'check gardens, sheds, barns, fields, under decking – anywhere she might try to hide or shelter'.
Co-ordinating the search on Facebook (Missing Dog Susie (Isle of Man)) is Karen Quayle.
She says there is a lot of private land in the area so if you would like to volunteer to help search, contact her via message.
If you see Suzie, or even think you might have, contact the owners immediately via telephone: 07718 333874.
