Special permission has been granted by DEFA for the search
An organised search of Archallagan Plantation is to get underway tomorrow (Sunday 15 June) to look for a missing dog.
Elvis the German Shepherd Cross slipped his harness on 28 May - but has been spotted in the plantation several times since then.
Special permission has been granted by DEFA for the search, which will get underway at 2pm from car park 1.
The area is still shut as officers deal with fallen and unstable trees which were damaged in winter storms.

Bert Bakker is co-ordinating the search.
He told Siobhán Fletcher they need as many people as possible - and specifically are appealing to anyone with a drone:
If you are taking part in the search, do not call his name or approach him.
Instead, you are asked to kneel or sit down on the floor quietly, and allow him to come to you.
If you see Elvis, call Bert on 472015.
