Successful poet's work should include some Manx content
The search is underway for a poet that can represent the Island over the next year.
The 10th Manx Bard will be appointed next month taking over from Boakesey Closs.
The annual competition has been held since 2015 and looks to celebrate the Island's poetic history.
Annie Kissack was the fifth poet to hold the position and says the successful candidate will be expected to reflect Island life in their work:
The competition takes place on 24 August with the inauguration taking place the following day.
Entries have to be submitted by 16 August - you can find out more on the Manx Bard Facebook page or by emailing manxbard@gmail.com
