Section of Coast Road shut today for stud installation

Traffic will be diverted via Ballaragh

A section of the A2 Ramsey to Onchan Coast Road will be shut today (27 February) as work continues to install road studs along the route.

Work will take place between Dhoon Glen and the northern approach to Laxey from 9.30am until 4.30pm.

Traffic will be diverted, via Ballaragh from Dhoon Glen and Minorca crossroads, except for bus services which will be marshalled through the works.

Drivers looking to travel between Douglas and Ramsey are being reminded they can also use the Mountain Road.
