Met Office data shows a soggy start to Autumn
Rainfall in September was nearly double the 30 year average.
Data provided by the Ronaldsway Met Office shows that over 134mm was recorded with the 17th being the wettest day with 21mm.
Temperatures, meanwhile, were close to average.
The warmest day was 1 September where the mercury peaked at 19.3 celsius.
Despite the month being so wet, the sun shone for 142.7 hours - bang on average for the month.
The mean wind speed over the month was 12.3 knots compared to the average 11.3, and the strongest gusts of 45 knots were recorded on the 15th.
