Douglas man stole alcohol, butter and tracksuit bottoms
A Douglas man will be sentenced in May after stealing various items from shops across the Isle of Man.
Liam Patrick Flanagan, of Hazel Close, pleaded guilty to four counts of theft at Douglas Courthouse.
On 23 October last year the 57-year-old stole a bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey from Shoprite in Port Erin; he also took a pair of tracksuit bottoms, from JD Sports in Douglas, on 15 November.
Flanagan also admitted being drunk and disorderly on 4 January in Port Erin.
On the same date he stole another bottle of whiskey, and a bottle of prosecco, from Shoprite there - as well as butter, worth £2.20, from the Co-op.
A social enquiry report has been requested before Flanagan is sentenced on 16 May; he’s been bailed until that date.
