2020-21 screening levels lowest in 10 years
Worries around body image and cancer could be reasons for less women taking part in cervical screenings.
That's according to the IoM Anti-Cancer Association after the number of screenings on Island fell to the lowest level in 10 years during 2020-21.
4,404 tests were carried out in that period - a drop of more than 700 compared to the previous 12 months.
Screenings were suspended for a period last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
