With over 700 separate sightings of basking sharks in Manx waters this summer, it's being described as a 'bumper' season.
The friendly giants have been a regular fixture off the Island's coasts since early May, with sightings ranging from one to 45 at a time.
Despite the inclement weather they have been spotted consistently throughout the summer, even up to the end of august when usually they begin to leave.
