Sheep attacked by dogs

Police in the south are investigating after another attack on livestock.

The incident happened at around 4pm yesterday just off the Sloc at Earystaine when two small lurcher dogs worried sheep.

The farmer whose stock was attacked says two women, one heavily pregnant, and a child were walking three dogs which weren’t on leads.

It comes after a spate of incidents involving dogs attacking sheep around the Island.

The incident has been reported to Port Erin police – if you have any information you can contact them on 832222.
