People need to understand the consequences of sheep worrying.
That's the plea from a sheep farmer in the St John's area who says it's even more important for dogs in the countryside to be kept under control, with the lambing season approaching.
Gordon Clague had a sheep injured in an attack on his farm at the weekend.
He says the stress of being chased by a dog can lead to a ewe losing her young, and people need to behave in a responsible way:
