Project chair confident £25m saving is realistic
Saving government £25 million over the next 5 years is a realistic and achievable aim.
So says the chairman of the Securing Added Value and Efficiencies scheme (SAVE), MHK Bill Shimmins.
The SAVE program is inviting the Manx public to give ideas on how government can be more efficient, either online or at drop-in sessions across the Island.
Mr Shimmins told Manx Radio he's been enthused by the range of responses given so far.
He says the public is only one of the four groups offering proposals on how to make savings.
