Debate begins in Tynwald
A Tynwald debate has started into whether gas exploration in Manx waters should be allowed.
The motion has been put forward by Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher.
She's trying to persuade Tynwald that the extraction of hydrocarbon from the Island's territorial waters should not go ahead
In her opening remarks she referred to fires experienced in the UK this week:
Three-month wait for state pension forecast statements
OFT to investigate possible regulation of funeral directors
"One of the Island's foremost champions of Manx heritage" to receive Tynwald Honour
No timeline yet for reinstatement of rehab service to north
